Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
What is ALumiEye?
ALumiEye is a trading intelligence platform for Vietnamese stock and crypto traders. It provides real-time AI-generated signals, live position tracking, market analysis, and portfolio visualisation — all in one app.
Who is ALumiEye designed for?
ALumiEye is built for traders at every level:
- Beginners — The Dashboard and Signals page give you a clear starting point without requiring deep market knowledge
- Active traders — Signal filtering, live positions, and per-symbol analysis help you manage a busy trading day
- Experienced traders — Trend ratings, short/mid-term breakdowns, portfolio allocation, and API access give you the depth you need
Do I need trading experience to use ALumiEye?
No. The platform is designed to be understandable even if you are new to trading. The Getting Started guide walks you through everything step by step. That said, ALumiEye provides intelligence — not financial advice. You are still responsible for your own trading decisions.
Is there a mobile version?
Yes. The web app is fully responsive and works well on mobile browsers. Open it in Chrome or Safari on your phone and it adapts automatically to your screen size.
Signals
What is a trading signal?
A signal is a notification that the AI has detected conditions that have historically preceded a price move. It shows you the asset, whether to consider buying or selling, the signal strength, and the price at the time of detection.
A signal is not a guaranteed trade outcome. It is a data-driven suggestion that you should evaluate alongside your own view.
What does signal strength (Quantity) mean?
Signal strength is expressed as a percentage. Higher is stronger:
- 20%+ — Very strong conviction
- 10–20% — Strong
- 2–10% — Moderate
- Below 2% — Weak
For beginners, focus on signals at 10% or above.
What do the signal types mean?
| Type | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | A new opportunity has been detected — the AI is flagging this asset for the first time |
| Increase | An existing signal is getting stronger — momentum is building |
| Decrease | The signal is weakening — momentum is fading |
| Close | The opportunity appears to be ending — consider exiting |
How often do signals appear?
It depends on market conditions and the asset. In active market sessions, several signals may appear per hour. During quiet periods, fewer signals are generated. The AI only fires a signal when conditions are genuinely met — it does not generate signals for the sake of it.
Can I filter signals?
Yes, on Pro and Premium plans you can filter by symbol, side (buy/sell), and signal type. Free plan users can view signals but cannot filter them.
Positions
What is the difference between P&L and Position Return?
- Current P&L — Your profit or loss from your average entry price to the current price, as a percentage
- Position Return — The total return across the full planned position size, accounting for how much of the position has been filled (capacity)
What does "Capacity" mean?
Capacity shows how much of the intended position size has been filled. A capacity of 50% means only half the planned trade has been executed so far — for example, the system is accumulating gradually.
Why is "Distance to Stop" important?
Distance to stop shows how far the current price is from your stop loss level. A small distance (e.g. 2%) means you are close to being stopped out — you should pay close attention. A large distance (e.g. 15%) means you have more room.
Why doesn't the price update automatically?
To keep the app fast and avoid unnecessary server load, live price data is loaded on demand. Click the Refresh icon on any position row to get the latest price, P&L, and return for that trade.
Markets
Which markets does ALumiEye cover?
- Vietnamese stocks — VN Index, VN30, HOSE-listed companies
- Cryptocurrency — BTCUSDT, ETHUSDT, BNBUSDT, SOLUSDT, XRPUSDT, and more
What plan do I need for crypto?
Crypto market access requires a Pro or Premium plan.
Can I use both markets at the same time?
Yes, if you are subscribed to both. Use the Market Toggle in the top navigation bar to switch between Stocks and Crypto. All pages update to show data for the selected market.
Plans & Billing
What does the Free plan include?
The Free plan gives you the Dashboard, Market overview, and a basic view of trading signals — no credit card required. Signal filtering, positions, analysis, watchlist, and portfolio require Pro or Premium.
How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to Billing in the top-right account menu. Click Upgrade on the market you want to upgrade, select your plan, and complete the payment.
Can I downgrade or cancel?
Yes. You can change your plan at any time from the Billing page. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
What happens when my subscription expires?
Your account reverts to the Free plan. You will still be able to view the Dashboard and Market page, but locked features will show an upgrade prompt.
